Hi, I’m Bri, founder of Partnering for Purpose, LLC.
I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and a double certified Equine Specialist recognized through PATH International and EAGALA. I spent over 6 years working solely as an Equine Specialist before becoming a therapist, gaining firsthand experience in facilitation, collaboration with mental health professionals, program development, equine welfare oversight, and mentorship across a wide range of equine assisted settings.
During my early years as an Equine Specialist, I often found myself with unanswered questions and limited guidance, especially when navigating role clarity, ethics, and the grey areas of the field. That experience shaped me deeply. I know what it feels like to love this work while wishing there was clearer direction, mentorship, and support.
After stepping into the clinical role as a therapist, I gained an even deeper understanding of how equine and mental health roles intersect, and where they must remain clearly defined. Having walked both paths, my heart is now firmly rooted in giving back through mentorship and education, helping Equine Specialists feel confident, supported, and grounded in their role.
Why Work With Me
I am a recognized PATH International Education Partner, meaning the mentorship and educational resources offered through Partnering for Purpose align with PATH Intl. standards and best practices. This recognition reflects my commitment to ethical practice, professional integrity, and high quality education within the equine industry, giving you confidence that the guidance you receive is grounded in recognized frameworks and values. PATH members receive a discount on all P4P products and mentorships!
Beyond credentials, my approach to mentorship is intentionally personal and tailored. I do not believe in one size fits all guidance. Each mentorship is designed around you your experience level, passions, questions, strengths, and the areas where you feel unsure about where to begin. Together, we identify clear starting points and create a path forward that feels supportive, realistic, and aligned with your goals.
I bring a rare and integrative perspective to this work as both a Licensed Associate Counselor and a seasoned Equine Specialist with over eight years in the equine assisted field. I spent more than six years working solely as an Equine Specialist before becoming a therapist, which allows me to deeply understand the questions, uncertainty, and grey areas that often come with this role.
Because I have walked this path myself, mentorship is not about telling you what to do. It is about guiding you through the process, helping you understand your role, stay within scope, and build confidence over time. My goal is to bridge the gap I once felt as an Equine Specialist by offering clear guidance, thoughtful tools, and ongoing support so you are never navigating this work alone.
