Participants gain practical insight into model selection, Equine Specialist advocacy, and collaborative team dynamics that support safety, scope of practice, and horse welfare. Approved Mentor and double-certified Equine Specialist (PATH Intl. & EAGALA), with over a decade of hands-on experience in EAL and EAP settings * Clear instruction on the Triangle and Diamond Models, including how each framework defines roles, responsibilities, and team dynamics within PATH Intl.–aligned services * Comprehensive exploration of “grey areas” as they relate to the Equine Specialist role in Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) and Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP), with an emphasis on ethics, boundaries, and scope of practice * Practical guidance for maintaining the ES role without drifting into clinical processing, emotional containment, or therapeutic interpretation * Downloadable Redirection Session Script providing professional, in-the-moment language to gently redirect participants back to horse behavior, observation, and experiential learning when sessions begin to internalize or shift toward emotional disclosure * Applied examples and mentor-informed insights to support confidence, clarity, and ethical decision-making in real session environments.
